Cuevana3 Shut Down by ACE: Popular Streaming Site Goes Offline
The Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE) says they have shut down Cuevana3, a popular website where people watched movies and TV shows for free.
Cuevana3 was very popular in Latin America. It had more than 20 different website addresses and got around 800 million visits in just 2 years. For four years, it was the most visited movie and TV show site in Latin America.
ACE, a group that wants to stop people from watching movies and shows for free without permission, is very pleased with this shutdown. They work with big companies like Disney, Netflix, and Warner Bros. to keep movies and shows safe.
Before, ACE had already taken down a website called cuevana3.io in 2021. Now, they have closed all of Cuevana3’s websites.
Jan van Voorn from ACE said they worked with police and other officials in several Latin American countries to close Cuevana3. They also shut down other illegal streaming sites in the area.
Now, when you try to visit any Cuevana3 site, it will take you to a page that tells you to watch movies and TV shows legally.
However, it’s important to note that some Cuevana3 websites might still be accessible.
In the screenshot below, you can see one of these sites that hasn’t yet been updated with the redirect page from ACE. This means the site is still up and running, despite ACE’s efforts to shut it down.
We’re not certain if all Cuevana3 websites have been updated to show the new page that encourages people to watch movies and TV shows legally. It’s possible that some sites are still operating without the redirect, or that new Cuevana3 sites may already be appearing, trying to continue the service under a different name or domain.
